Scheduling

For departments with full-time staff, tracking scheduling and covering shifts is both challenging and time-consuming.

FirePro 2 offers an integrated set of squad/platoon scheduling options, including a calendar tool that tracks all scheduled shifts, shift-swap monitoring, automatic shift coverage and an overtime call-out ranking/contact sheet.

Squad/Platoon Scheduling

The Squad/Platoon Scheduling module allows you to set up different types of shift (day/night, for example) and create shift patterns that will set perpetual work schedules for each squad.

You can then view squads and schedules using a color-coded calendar interface, either as a searchable calendar, or from each firefighter's personnel record. Scheduling days off is as simple as clicking on a shift and selecting who is taking time off, and who is covering them.

The system tracks stat days, lieu days, sick days and monitors shift swapping on an ongoing basis, ensuring that the correct number of days off are both used and credited to each firefighter.

The Coverage tool checks all shifts, and creates a list of shifts that are below the minimum required number of staff, making sure that staffing levels are maintained.

You can generate reports on schedules over any time period, past or future, print scheduling calendars for staff and even get reports on how time off is being used.

Overtime Scheduling

Managing overtime lists and assigning staff call priority for overtime opportunities is a challenging task. Let FirePro 2 make it easier with the Overtime Scheduling Module. Programmed using your overtime guidelines, FirePro will automatically generate a call list, including contact info, and allow you to record call results, which factor into future call order.
