Fire InspectionsIn the office or in the field, FirePro 2 provides a suite of scheduling, recording and reporting tools intended to keep an FPO or Inspector organized and on-track.
FirePro 2's Inspection options include two inspection formats, an integrated scheduling/reminder tool, printed inspection forms and a powerful, flexible set of reporting tools.
Classic InspectionsThe FirePro 2 Classic Inspection module uses a contravention/corrective action format to record inspection information. You can create and save your own customized contravention and corrective action texts or use the Provincial and National Fire Code add-ons. Inspection follow-ups, notices of violation and upcoming investigations can be monitored, making sure that you never forget a follow-up or miss a periodic inspection again. Using the optional electronic version of the Fire Code, FirePro2 will help you write your Inspection Reports. You can search the code or enter a reference number and FirePro2 will import the Fire Code text directly onto your report. Then you can customize the contravention and add corrective actions, which can be associated to a specific violation and pre-written in easily understandable language. Increasingly, detailed records are a requirement for Fire Inspectors. FirePro allows you to create those detailed inspection histories without having to spend hours at the keyboard. Reports that may have taken you an hour (or more) can now be competed and sent via email in just a few minutes, making you more productive. Inspection ChecklistsThe Inspection Checklist module allows you to create a set of checklist items which can be used as a master checklist or customized to specific property types or individual properties. Print a blank checklist to take into the field and quickly record the inspection and prepare a report when you get back to the office. The Inspection Checklist module comes with all FirePro's scheduling and reminder tools, and is an excellent solution for Inspectors requiring a fast, consistent inspection format. Remote InspectionsFirePro2 Remote module allows you to take FP2 with you into the field. Download your property, inspection and pre-plan data onto your laptop or table PC, enter your inspection information right on-site, and update the main system when you're back in the office. With the addition of a portable printer, you can even provide professional, signed inspection reports right then and there. Compatible with both Classic and Checklist Inspections, the FP2 Remote Inspection module removes the need for paper inspection forms, and keeps you from having to write out inspections a second time - you can create your finalized inspection report on the spot. Smoke AlarmsThe Smoke Alarm section of the Inspections window lists all smoke alarm inspections on a property recorded in date-order. The main purpose of the smoke alarm module is to track statistics about smoke alarms for your area. Each record entered represents the current fire readiness or awareness of the property as of a specific inspection date. You can enter information on all the present smoke alarms, fire plans, and use of candles or anything else you would like to track. |
